DS90CF384: Minimum operating temperature

Hello Team,

Could you help please with our customer's question:
Can DS90CF384AMTD operate with -20 C outdoor temperature? (In datasheet, minimum operating free air temperature is -10 C)

If not, customer going to replace DS90CF384AMTD with FIN3386MTDX.
Could you recommend another TI' material in this case?

What we have in the DS90CF384 datasheet is the supported temperature range. On the min side this should be -10C operating temperature TA as the datasheet indicates. All the specs and performance indicated in the datasheet are only guaranteed over the recommended operating supply and temperature range.

Hi Ilya,

Where do you the -10C spec? On the DS90CF384 datasheet the operating free air temperature range is listed as -40 to 85C.

Oh it looks like the temperature range for the DS90CF384A (different part number from DS90CF384) is -10 to 70C.

In that case they can just use the automotive version of this device, the DS90CF384AQ-Q1, with -40 to 85C temperature range.
