TPS65982DC SPI bus routing on PCB, their traces length are over TI spec. ?

Pin B3: SPI_SS_Z trace route 2603.5 mil

Pin A3: SPI_CLK trace route 2557.55 mil

Pin A4: SPI_MISO trace route 2590.04 mil

Pin B4: SPI_MOSI trace route 2572.89 mil

Pin B10( SENSEP) and Pin A10( SENSEN) have what special layout guide ?

Hi Steve,

There's no specific guidelines from TI about the trace length of SPI lines. However, we would recommend you to keep it as short as possibe.

Regarding the Sense resistance we would request you to refer our EVM hardware files and fllow the same. Generally the recommendation is to keep the power traces wide enough to support high current.

Hi Rahul,
Thanks! We route SENSEP and SENSEN trace width is 4 mils, space is 9 mils. Is it OK?

Hi Steve,

I think you're saying that the traces between the Rsense and SENSEP & SENSEN pins are 4 mils wide. That should be ok, but if possible make it 10mils.
PS: keep the actual power traces wide enough to carry the high VBUS current.
