Does the DS90UB925-Q1 support input in YUV format? If so, how is it coded?

Yes. UB925 is one bridge to convert parallel input (any data) to serial output, so any YUV or RGB can be transmitted to the FPD-Link. but for this case, you should care for the paired part which should also support this format.

Thanks, I got it. The paired part is DS90UR910. Therefore, can the 910 support the decoding of YUV? Will there be distortion or distortion？

sorry UR910 can't support the YUV input, you can refer to d/s and can use DS90UB940 as replacement.
meanwhile, you can use UB921 to replace UB925.
