TPS65987D: Eliminating the external power path (Optional sink path)

Dear,

I'm designing a device which gets power DC15V 3A, using the TPS65987D, from a USB-C charger. Sink only, no USB data.

I tested successfully the wanted function with TPS65987-90EVM, which has a special block; external power path.

Can I eliminate the external power path block in my circuit?

Hi Jeong,

Yes, if your design does not require the external power path, you can delete that circuit block.
