DP83822I: Differences between DP83822 and TLK105?

We are using TLK105 today but we want to change to DP83822

Been using TLK105 for 3-4 years now and the software behind it is stable.

But switching to DP83822 we are no connection to Ethernet.

So can you help me here?

Is it something with the bootstrap config? I attach the schematics around TLK105.

Hi Per,

Moving from TLK105 to DP83822 does not require any pcb changes. Can you please confirm you have gone thru the rollover document detailing all the changes between these two parts.

Also we have follwoing additional requirement not captured in document:

- mandatory PU/PD on pin 24.
- remove decaps from PFBIN1/2 and PFBOUT carried from TLK design.

I just added a pull-up (4k7) and it works better.

Do you mean to have both a pull-up and a pull-down (4k7) on pin24?

To have a voltage value of 3,3V/2?

Hi,

Either Pull UP or Pull Down is needed. You can do PU with 2.2K.
