Hi Team,

I would like to know.My customers are considering using TUSB8044.

If Host is a USB 2.0 only compatible product, is it possible to use TUSB8044 for UPSTREAM PORT?

What should I do with 'USB_SSxXx_DNx' pin processing when unsupported?

You can used TUSB8044 for USB2.0. Unused USB 3.0 signal lines do not need to be terminated.

I have another question.
When using only as a hub of USB 2.0, is it possible to operate without doing any I 2 C connection and register setting?
Input: 1, Output: 1
No charge function

Hi Kenji,

The TUSB8044 can be used without I2C or SMBUS for USB 2.0 and/or USB 3.x operation. It is state machine based and does not require external firmware.
