About electrostatic test

An electrostatic test was performed on the cable connected to the RIN 1 - / +, RIN 2 - / + terminals of the "DS90LV049Q - q 1", and the ROUT 1 and ROUT 2 terminals are fixed at H level.
Please tell me the countermeasure method.

Can you please clarify your request? WHat was the ESD voltage? Did the device get damaged by the ESD test?

Can you please clarify your request?
WHat was the ESD voltage?
-> "2 kV - 4 kV ESD voltage test" causes the ROUT 1 and ROUT 2 pins to be fixed at H level (latch up state) and can not return to power off / on.
What is the state like this?
Is it not possible to recover automatically?
What is the workaround?

Did the device get damaged by the ESD test?
->There is no breakage. It returns to normal with the power off / on.

Hello,

In general, the ESD rating (and post-testing) of the device only guarantees that it won't be damaged by the rated ESD voltage. It generally doesn't mean that the device can function again without recycling the power. I am not really sure if there is a way to make it recover automatically (without recycling the power).
