DS90UB948-Q1: cant display on 1920x560@60

Part Number: DS90UB948-Q1

Currently, it can display 1920*1080, but changed to 1920x560@60, no display, even set color bar, no display.
But the lock signal is OK , and can find the data is transmit.
Any suggest?thanks.

Is it the EDID issue? or how to reivse this?

  • It could be. please check the EDID is updated with the 1920x560 format. also, pls check:
    1. UB949's HDMI status reg., you can download all the registers to us for analysis when the display can't work;
    2. how about the panel's resolution? can it support the 1920x560?
    3. for 1920x1080, do you have any setting on UB949 or UB948?
    4. how do you change the video from 1080 to 560? is it from UB949 side?

    2. can support 1920x560
    3. no special setting
    4. just use color bar, but can't work.
  • Sure, UB949 can support the 1920x560 patten, you can use UB949's pattern generation to try this test.
    from the reg. value, UB949's HDMI module is working.

    regards,
    Steven
  • We used the pattern gen (color bar)to test, but can't work.
