Dear all，

now customer use TPD12S016 as a HDMI ESD device, they found that HDMI signal can not transfer to HDMI connector ,then the screen unable display ; but when they use TPD12S521 as HMDI ESD device , the HDMI signal can transfer to HDMI connector, and the screen can display ; we doubt the drive ability of TPD12S016 is not enough . the schematic of HDMI show:

can your guys help us to resolve the problem? thanks very much!

I cannot see the figures that you provided

Both parts are specified at approximately the same RF performance and have very similar ESD structures. Neither part has any active drive, so it is likely to be a loading issue, not a drive issue.

Do you have any compliance screen captures of the differential signals to show the eye diagram?

On the TPD12S521, you have CEC_REMOTE_IN pulled high and on the TPD12S016, you have the CEC_A pin is floating. If your intention is to have the same functionality, then you need to pull CEC_A high through the same resistor. I suspect that this is the cause of your issue.
