+1.8V I2C mux which is automotive (AEC-Q100) grade?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCA9306-Q1

I have two possible I2C bus masters that need to interface with an image sensor.

Does TI have a part that:

1. runs at +1.8V

2. is automotive grade (AEC-Q100), so operating temp of -40C to at least +105C

I don't care about package type.

thx,

Tom

  • Hey Tom,

We currently do not have any automotive switches. There is a plan for us to release an automotive qualified switch though because it has not been released yet I am not sure I am allowed to post information about it on a public forum.

You can contact me at duynguyen@ti.com and I can get you in touch with someone who can provide you with more information (release date, features, pricing, ect..).

There is also an alternative solution of using PCA9306-Q1 and some GPIOs as a switch. The device is normally used as a translator but has an enable pin which can be used at Vref1=Vref2 and you can use this as an I2C switch (non-addressable). <-- this meets both the Vcc and temperature requirement

    Thanks,

    -Bobby
