TCA9617B: Vulnerable to Natural Radiation?

Hi,

I am trying to determine if the TCA9617B will be vulnerable to natural radiation. I would like to know the size (in area) of vulnerable memory cells. I also need to know the number of bits with or without EDAC, as well as how many gates would be susceptible.

Please advise if you have this type of information.

Hello Go Bravos,

This is definitely a question we do not get everyday. I will have to ask around to see who I need to talk to to get an answer.

May I ask what application/end equipment where this kind of information is needed?

Hey Go Bravos,

There doesn't seem to be any Non-Volatile memory inside this device so I do not believe this device is vulnerable to natural radiation from a memory standpoint.
