SN75LVDS83B: Need of UART protocol output/input

Hello,
customer is searching for a LVDS serializer but with UART protocol output/input format. Is there any transmitter supporting this? Today they use a snap+ chip.

Hello,

We don't have a serializer specific to UART protocol. Serializers like the SN75LVDS83B will simply serialize whatever is on the input as long as they're within the electrical/switching characteristics specified in the datasheet.

Background of the questions is that customer want an interface to the snap+ chip from profichip. It runs on 48Mbit/s LVDS phisics:

Also a problem to get the data out of our Sitara processors. They don't have a 48MBit/s UART but SPI. Also a 16bit GPMC parallel interface to get the data out.
