HI,

Our customer used Intel plugfest GRL test and occur one of fail item as below:

"TDA.2.1.2.1 BMC Bus Idle Detection Test BMC-PHY-RX-BUSIDL FAIL ( DUT send GoodCRC when CCLine is not idle) "

Could you please advise what reason cause this fail?

Hello Lin,

One issue that can cause this test to fail is capacitance on the CC line outside the PD spec. I suggest calculating the value for the failing line in your layout and checking against Intel or PD spec.

If this does not help, check what CC line is failing and also what portion of the test has an issue.
