Hi Sir,

The PD Alternate Mode: DisplayPort application note suggest the HD3SS460 is C/D. Can we setting Pin Assignment C?

If Host side only setting Pin Assignment C link to Docking Pin Assignment C/D,Will this happen Billboard message ?

Hi Hugo,

Yes, you can configure the TPS65982 to only enter pin assignment C if desired. You can do so using the TPS6598x Application Customization tool by changing the contents of the Display Port Capabilities Register (0x51). If you then connect to a dock that supports bot pin assignment C & D, you will enter the pin assignment C Display Port mode.
