XIO2001: BSDL file for PCIe to PCI bridge in the 128 Pin HTQFP Package

I am using the XIO2001 PCIe to PCI bridge in the 128 Pin HTQFP Package. I contacted TI customer support and they said they don't a BSDL file for this device in this package. Has anyone had this issue? If so, how was it resolved?

Unfortunately BSDL file does not exist for this device in the HTQFP package and cannot be created. What are you hoping to use this file for?

Malik,

We wanted to do infrastructure and interconnect testing on our new board design.
Without this file we will not be able to verify the connectivity of the JTAG chain or be able to verify the connection to non-BSCAN components.
By the statement “cannot be created” are you stating at this time or never?
I would think that a BSDL file can be created for any device that supports the JTAG standard.

Unfortunately a BSDL file for this package does not exist and we do not have any plans to create one.

Why are there no plans to create a BSDL file? How are users of your device supposed to put this device in a design and use it to check the integrity of the chain and test other devices connected to it?
