SN75LVDT386: about SN75LVDT386 and SN75LVDS386

Hi dear supporting team,

is SN75LVDS386DGG and SN75LVDT386DCG totally P2P compatible?  i.e if solder LVDT to LVDS brd, could it operate normally? and both of them has 100 Ohm input termination, right? if not, what's the difference?  tks a lot!

    Hello Vera,

    SN75LVDS386DGG and SN75LVDT386DGG have the same pinout. However, LVDT386 has an integrated termination resistor, while LVDS386 doesn't. Therefore, if you have LVDS386 on the board you have to have an external 100 Ohm termination resistor and if you want to replace it with LVDT386, you have to remove the external termination resistor.
