TPS65981: how to connect unused pins?

Hello Team,

if the internal port multiplexer is not used because the USB2.0 signals are bypassed can these pins be left open or should they be tied to ground/Vcc?

Hi Hans,

Please connect the USB_RP_N & USB_RP_P lines to ground using a 1M resistance and leave the C_USB_BN, C_USB_BP, C_USB_TP & C_USB_TN lines floating.

Hi Rahul,

can the signals

"C_SBU1"

"C_SBU2"

"C_CC1"

"C_CC2"

also be left floating?

Hi Hans,

Yes you can leave S_SBU1/2 lines floating but C_CC1/2 lines should be connected to Type-C connector.
