Hi Team,

My customers would like to know the connection point between the TX signal line and the RX signal line.

Should the TX signal line and the RX signal line be cross-connected?

not sure what do you mean cross-connected, type-c TX1 to 3220 RX1, type-c RX1 to 3220 TX1, rest should do the same thing

Hi Brian,

The TX pins are connected to the plug of the Type-C connector and the receptacle.
In other words, we understand that the TX pin of the receptacle is the data receiving side.
Is this understanding correct?

sorry, since 3220 and 542 are all mux, tx should connect to tx, rx connect to rx in your schematic

Hi Brian,

In the reference design below, Tx - Rx is connected to the Type A connector.
