Hi Sir,

our customer used Pattern Generator to verify LMH1297EVM performance, but There are no pictures on screen.

Is this EVM need use the SigCon Architect? or only HW control?

This EVM can operate in HW control - pin mode - or using SigconArchitect GUI. Please make sure your customer reviews LMH1297EVM user guide. This explains how to control this EVM using either pin mode or SigconArchitect.

The Datasheet & User guide only show the SPI/SMBus setting, How to setting HW control?20k to GND? connect to VIN?

Hi Hugo,

Pin setting has priority over SMBus or SPI interface. For example, EQ/CD_SEL pin determines whether device would operate in EQ or cable driver mode. Through SMBus or SPI interface this can be over written. The following pins control different functions and these can be over written through SMBus or SPI interface: MODE_SEL, IN_OUT_SEL, and OUT_CTRL. Please refer to the LMH1297 data sheet for further details.
