Dear sir,

Our customer is using TUSB9261, and they want to know maximum SATA differential trace length they can draw??

The datasheet seems no mention about it.

Would you please give me an advice?? Thank you very much.

we don't have recommendation for max differential trace length, but try keep as short as possible. for max differential trace length mismatch, it's about 2.5mils

Dear Brian,
Now customer's SATA differential trace length is about 3000mils to a connector.
Is it acceptable??

This depends on your system implementation, the PCB construction/board material, impedance matching, trace length matching, trace spacing, number of vias, etc.

Typically you will need a re-driver if the trace length is 4 inches or more.
