TPD5S116: Could it be replaced by TPD12S016 for below application

Hi team,

Now customer is using TPD5S116, but the package is too small for them.

Below is their schematic. It is a HDMI2.0 application.

I have searched on ti.com and find TPD12S016. But it doesn't show it support HDMI2.0.

So I want to confirm if TPS12S016 could be used for below application. 

I think this should be OK, because the high speed interface D0/1/2 and clk is not needed here.

Could you please help with this?

    Robin,

    HDMI 2.0 requires a higher data rate for the high speed lines and the TPD12S0016 has not been qualified for those data rates.

    If the customer only requires the low speed level shifting capability of the TPD12S016, then it should be able to replace the TPD5S116 in their system.
