TPS65982: Enable Runtime D3 function go back S0 will lost TBT controller and device in system

Dear Sirs,

My customer used 982A and TBT controller in a system.

Now the system is going to RTD3 state, when the system returns from S3/S4/S5 to S0, the TBT Controller and devices will be lost in the system manager.

May I know how to fix this issue?

The System Architecture as below.
PCH: Whisky Lake ULT
TBT: Alpine Ridge DP
PD: TPS65982A

Can you provide some more details on the issue? What is RTD3 State?

Hi Henry,

I just checked on this. When coming out of Sleep mode, the TBT controller should be reset before returning to normal operation. This can be done by toggling the MRESET pin on the TPS65982.

Do you mean When coming out of Sleep mode we able to use MCU to reset 982 Mreset then ResetZ to reset TBT controller again?
