TUSB1210: Are TUSB1210 data pin outputs push-pull or open drain?

You can also use level shifters such as SN74AVC16T245 to translate between 1.8V and 3.3V. When use level shifter or translator, you do need to take the delay of the level shifter or translator into account.

Are you suggesting instead to change to the SN74AVC16T245 ?
Is the LSF0108QPWRQ1 the wrong part to use?

For the SN74AVC16T245, when using for my bidirectional data pins, as shown in datasheet page 15, section 10.1.1, I do not follow the delay times presented. If initially transmitting from A to B, then DIR is switched, which delay is associated with DIR changing?
I see and understand delays from A to B or B to A when signal goes Low or High.
Do not understand delays from OE~ to A or B with tPZH, tPZL, tPHZ or tPLZ.
Also do not see delay when DIR changes
Do I use: tPZH (DIR to A) = tPLZ (DIR to B) + tPLH (B to A) or tPZL (DIR to A) = tPHZ (DIR to B) + tPHL (B to A) ?
Not sure what the difference is.

I don't have experience with LSF0108QPWRQ1, but I know from the e2e forum that in the past customers have success using the SN74AVC16T245 with TUSB1210. And TI has tested TUSB1210 with SN74AVC4T245 on the TI Panda board without any issue.

The delay is from A to B, and also B to A path. You need to take these delay into account to make sure the total timing met TUSB1210 ULIP interface timing requirement.

Is there a BOM? What is IC101, TPSZ3533DRB?
In the schematic, it looks like the SN74AVC4T245 devices do no voltage translation, both VCCA (XDSET_1V8) and VCCB (XDSET_VCC) are at 1.8V.
In order to do voltage translation, I will substitute my 3.3V for the VCCB pin.

This is a typo, it should be TPS73533, which is a fixed 3.3V LDO regulator.

If IC101 has fixed 3.3V output, this is signal XDSET_VCC which connects to TUSB1210 VDDIO pin 32.
But VDDIO pin 32 has max 1.98V or 1.8V typical.

You are right, this is a mistake in the design. VDDIO should only be driven by a 1.8V supply.

The SN74AVC4T245 mentions:
"The SN74AVC4T245 device is ideal for use in
applications where a push-pull driver is connected to the data I/Os.".
Therefore, I'm assuming that the SN74AVC4T245 and SN74AVC8T245 are push-pull outputs, and NOT open drain.

Also, what are the drive requirements for the SN74AVC4T245 or SN74AVC8T245 input pins being driven by my external device. Is it 4,8,12,16 or 20mA?
