I saw 10G support on the DS250DF810 datasheet，but did not specify what protocols were supported，

can support XFI/KR/SFI and other protocols?

DS250DF810 supports 10G Ethernet 10.3125Gbps data rate. Including SFI and XFI.

For KR application, device needs to pass through training sequences. For this application, please take a look at DS100KR810 and DS100KR401. Please below note link to data sheets for these devices:

You mean DS250DF810 does not support 40G BASE-KR4？I also want to know if ASIC is configured as XFI protocol, can it connect 10G SFP + optical module after DS250DF810?

Hi Shaocong,

DS250DF810 does not support 40G BASE-KR4. For this application, please consider DS100KR401 device.

DS250DF810 does support 10G SFP+ optical module.

Could you please include application model again? For some reason this was not visible in your earlier post.

I have a question，We used to use 100G base-Kr4 before,It works. so I think it should be 10g-kr？

There's another problem, can support 10G BASE-R protocol?

Hi Shaocong,

Please consider using DS280MB810 instead of DS250DF810 in your block diagram. DS280MB810 is a linear redriver and passess KR training signal. Also, it passes XFI signal as well. Additionally, you can use DS100DF410 before the SFI interface to retime the signal right before the optical module.
