TUSB8040A: Wakeup from S3

Dear sir,

Our customer is using TUSB8040A, and they want to know the condition of wakeup from S3.

Should they connect the VDD33 and VDD11 to the standby power??

And need to force the GRSTz to high??

Does USB_VBUS (B44) also be connected to standby power??

    Do you mean using the hub to wake the system in S3?

    The USB host controller will have to configure the hub to enable wake from S3, and the hub will need to remain powered in order to generate a remote wake signal to the host. GRSTz would not be impacted by S3 state if the hub remains powered.

    If the host controller is enabling the TUSB8040A to generate a remote wake, VBUS would stay on.

    If you just mean allowing the hub to wake from S3, no special configuration should be necessary.
