    Hi Rob,
    What is the latency in MEDIA CONVERSION MODE Copper to Fiber (100Base)?
    Any updates to the EVM guide, ex. OPMODE 0 is silkscreen is in the wrong header
    Can you recommend another PHY that has low latency in media conversion mode (copper to fiber 100base (SFP))

    Hi Tony,

    The latency for copper to fiber in 100base mode is 360ns. This is measured from SSD symbol on copper MDI to SSD symbol on fiber MDI.

    I do not have updates at the moment for the EVM files or EVM guide. The owner of that guide and EVM will not be available until the end of this month. I will not the OPMODE_0 silk issue for him.

    If you need to convert in 100base only, the DP83849IF may also be a solution for you. The latencies are documented in section 4.10 and 4.13. It looks like copper to fiber will be approx 290ns total latency. Fiber to copper will be 190ns.
