Hi Frank,
The BR820 has slightly better specifications and performance. The BR810 has internal AC coupling capacitors within the package. This hurts the transmitter performance. The BR820 requires external AC coupling capacitors which can work better.

From a silicon perspective two devices share a common design.

I have checked the datasheet of DS280BR820, it seems to have the ineternal AC cap. Thanks.

Hi Frank,

Sorry I should have clarified ...

The DS280BR820 only has AC coupling capacitors on the high speed Rx. The Tx will require external AC coupling.
