Hello,

My customer have some questions about DP83869HM.

They want to use it with SGMII interface.

[Q1]

Can DP83869HM support Jumbo Frames on any interface (SGMII, RGMII, MII) ?

[Q2]

Can DP83869HM support 16k bytes jumbo frames with SGMII interface ?

[Q3]

Is there anything to be aware of when operating with jumbo frames ?

For example, clock accuracy, register setting, layout, and so on...

Hi Hiroshi-san,

Q1. Yes, but jumbo frames are limited to 100M and 1000M speeds only.

Q2. Jumbo frames are only supported to 13k bytes.

Q3. For SGMII mode, no special concerns are necessary.
