TVP5158: USB - I2C connection issue

Hi Ulrike,

Could you give more detailed description about software tools which you are using and specify the version please. The very first suggestion is that there is some connection issue if you have no made any software and hardware modifications.

I suggest you to take a look at TVP5158 Evaluation Module User's guide at:
www.ti.com/.../sleu108a.pdf
and focus on:
1. Hardware setup and jumper settings according your configuration - section 5
2. TVP5158EVM Evaluation Procedures
If a message appears indicating that the USB device was not found (see Figure 10), disconnect the USB cable, wait three seconds and reconnect the USB cable.

as mentioned in my original post. this is what the customer did first and i double checked with them and it DID NOT solve the issue. Please suggest a solution.
is there the possibility to assign a specific port to the EVM instead of having it randomly assigned?
