Hi there,

Our customer's notebook Thunderbolt design is a combination of Titan ridge and TPS65983B, and a notebook as HOST.

So could you please help provide the firmware for the PD (TPS65983B) part of this design？

Eason,

The TPS65983B is only approved for use in TBT device designs that exactly follow an Intel Reference Design. If this is not the case, I would suggest using another PD controller, like the TPS65987D. If a pin-to-pin variant is needed, consider using the TPS65982. For both of those devices, the Firmware image can be generated using our GUI tool online.

As I align with our customer, they follow the design from intel now. But they want to get firmware of TPS65983B .
Could we release it to them? If we can, please sent me from email and thanks a lot!

The customer would need to request access to the TPS65983B Secure Site through the TPS65983B product page. There is a link they can press to request the access.
