SN75LVDS83B: RGB to LVDS selection

Hello

LCD display application,My customer need one device to transmit RGB to LVDS,they wish it could support Five 10bit LVDS output ,but SN75LVDS83B just support Four 7bit LVDS out, do you have any recommend ?

Hi Fandy,

Unfortunately we do not have any parts that can meet the customer's needs. Is this requirement unique to the customer or have you seen other customers requesting this type of device? Typically most displays have 7bit LVDS inputs, and between 3 to 8 lanes.

Customer 's Panel is big size and higher resolution ;

is DS92LV8028 could cover this requirement ? it seems its input is 10bit

Hi Fandy,

The DS92LV8028 is not traditionally used in LCD applications like the SN75LVDS83B is, but yes I believe it would be possible to use it here. You should check to see if the device is compatible with the display datasheet (switching characteristics, electrical characteristics, mapping format, etc.).
