DS90UB954-Q1: Sync Mode Question

Hi Expert,

953+954 with Sync mode, it can display 4MP/30fp imagers. If the CMOM I/F is DVP and 2MP, the solution should be 933. 933 didn't support Sync mode and the line rate support 1.9Gbps, 1.2Gbps video.

If we use 933+954, does it possible to display 2MP/60fp data? Thanks!

No, 2MP/60fps data rate is too high for 933.

But 933 datasheet shows it can support up to 1.87Gbps, 2MP bandwidth is 1.642Gbps, why 933 can't support it? Thanks!

Hi Jerry,
1.87Gbps is the FPDLink line rate which includes both video data and control data.
There are 28 bits in one FPD frame, and 22 out of the 28 bits are actual video data.
The actual data bandwidth is 1.47Gbps
