Hi team,

one of my customers is interested to make a point to point connection ( to be more precise between a controller and a drilling tool.)

- In order to minimized the number of cable, is possible on a single twisted pair to send the data but also the power supply on the receiver ?

- Do you have any schematic or recommendation if it’s possible ?

    Hi Massimiliano,

    As of now we do not have reference designs or schematics for Power Over Data Line (PODL). We know that customers have implemented their own systems with DP83TC811 where power is transmitted over data line. Would it be possible for you to share more information about the customer and the application? We can move this offline if customer information is confidential and cannot be shared over open forum.
