HD3SS3415: Asking for HD3SS3415's design concern on USB2.0 switch

Could you please confirm why HD3SS3415 cannot support USB2.0 application?
i saw the post here and it mentioned "USB2.0 signals can be above the maximum operating conditions of this device."

HD3SS3415 is a USB3.0 switch. For USB2.0 switch, please refer to TS5USB family device.

This is due to architectural implementation difference between USB2.0 and USB3.0. For example, USB2.0 is designed as a DC coupled interface while USB3.0 is a designed as a AC coupled interface.
