What are the rules for sequencing VCCI and VCCP for the TCA6424A? Can either VCC be off if the other VCC is applied?

    Hello Jeff,

    There is no specific order required for powering the two rails.

    The ideal sequence would to bring VCCI up first, and then bring VCCP.

    However, there are internal POR circuits which will hold the device in reset until both power rails are powered up. It is suggested that VCCI come up first if possible, since this will get all the internal logic reset before the power to the ports comes up.
