Hi,
I would like help selecting ESD protection or TVS for a 40 V automotive LDO. The LDO needs external protection to pass +/- 8 kV ESD testing and automotive ISO7637-2 transient pulse 3b up to 100 V.
We will have a reverse protection diode and input cap on the LDO that should also help with the ISO7637-2 pulse 3b test. The LDO max recommended input voltage is 40 V, and abs max is between 42 V and 45 V.
