DS90UB913A-Q1: DS90UB913/914

Part Number: DS90UB913A-Q1

Hi Team,

I have problem with the FPD-link:

My design contains 2 units – camera & control box.

They are connected via the components: DS90UB913/914.

I working with 100MHz clock and everything is OK.

The physical connection between the units is STP (by HDMI cable)

I have changed the camera unit (contains the 913) with a different camera (contains 913 as well).

I cannot work at 100MHz clockà There is no link / lock.

The design is ok at 50Mhz clock à there is link / lock, and everything is OK.

The physical connection is soldered STP wires (directly to the capacitors of the 913 DOUT+ ,DOUT-). The wires length is about 20cm. There is no stab or any pcb conductors that connected to the DOUT signals (I disconnected the pcb routing between the 913 to the board connector).

Of course, the 913 peripheral in both cameras is the same. One small different is the VDDIO (3.3V / 1.8V) but it doesn’t supposed to cause that.

Please find attached the 2 schematics of the camera.

Can you please advise what is the link / lock criteria?

Any other advice?

Thanks,

Shlomi
