Hi Team,

We use a SiT8924BE-22-18E-25.000000000E active crystal oscillator as the clock source in our circuit.

The following picture shows the tr, TF of AEC-Q100 Oscillator.

We want to know whether it is feasible to use this predestined crystal oscillator as the clock source of SN65DSI 84.

Hi Wu,

It looks like your oscillator’s rise/fall time is out of specification of the recommended operating conditions listed in our datasheet. Therefore, we cannot really comment on the feasibility of its operation, and can only recommend that you use an oscillator that’s within spec.

Hi Wu,

We don't have crystal oscillators in our portfolio so unfortunately I am not familiar with them. My only suggestion in this regard is to find an oscillator that meets the specifications of the DSI84.
