TCA9539: TCA9539 RESET function will reset state machine & registers?

Hi Sir,

We are looking for a replacement solution for NXP PCA9539R, and which TCA9539 has same function but RESET function is different,

NXP PCA9539R: when RESET=Low, it will reset state machine but not registers,

TI TCA9539 : when RESET=Low, it will reset state machine & registers both

Do you have any suggestion parts which has same function & RESET function as NXP PCA9539R which will not reset the registers?

    Unfortunately not, all of our I/O expanders use this reset circuitry.
