THS8200: THS8200, DO pin application, CLKIN input circuit design

Part Number: THS8200

Hi,

I am using THS8200 in my product.

I wonder how to use these DO Pins and why have to use this, for what  kind of application?

Moreover, is there anything for me to pay particular attention for CLKIN's input circuit. Or just matching the two-side level signal is okay?

  • Hello,

I would like to inform you that THS8200 is Not recommended for new design NRND. Therefore the support is extremely limited.
Nevertheless I suggest to look at the datasheet Table 3-1 at:
    www.ti.com/.../ths8200.pdf
where you can find description of DOx pins - TU-R.BT656 compliant video data output port. Only available when ITU-R.BT656 input format is used. Can be used to connect to external PAL/NTSC video encoder. This port is off by default and should be activated by an I2C register setting.
