Hello,

If I look in the ALT4532P datasheet I can the insertion lose is only specified up to 200MHz which is not sufficient for using FPD-Link III devices such as the DS90UB934.
Our device (DS90UB934) works on the frequency range from 2.5MHz to 1Ghz. So please make sure that the ALT4532P is good enough to support that frequency range.

I think I need an ALT4532H and not an ALT4532P?

Hello,

You are right! The H version looks better than the P version at the higher frequencies, i.e. 1GHz.
Nevertheless, it still have 2dB loss at 1GHz, so please do measure and make sure that the complete link (PCBs + Cable + Connectors) characteristics are within our requirements.
