please help us with the right part for the below requirement .

we are looking for an Ethernet PHY having below listed features.

1. PTP 1-step (L2/L4)

2. SyncE

3. Gigabit PHY

4. Single or Dual Port PHY

Hi Shreenidhi,

1. PTP : I believe you mean 1588 support. Do customer need this on PHY or MAC ?

2. Sync E : DP83867/9 offers recovered Clockout which can be further used to clock the system, however please do review the Input Jitter requirement vs offered by Clockout of PHY.

3. Gigabit PHY : DP83869 offers both Cu and Fiber. DP83867 offers only Cu.

4. Gigiabit PHY offered by TI are Single Port only

Hi Geet,

We need it on PHY level our usecase is to implement the grandmaster. We need one step Hardware time stamping.

Hi,

We don't have Gigabit Ethernet PHY supporting 1588 Timestamping in hardware.
