TCA9548A: TCA9548A communication on the other side?

How exactly did you configure the chip?

Actually I use the USB-I2C TI  (USB Interface Adapter)  , on the normal use a FPGA is connected to the I2C bus (not yet tested)

I write  0x20 to the chip to access the bus 5.

Sorry. It is working perfectly with the FPGA.

I use a TCA9548 , I can control it with a FPGA and with a external tools connected to a 3 pins connector (with a TI Usb adapter for example)

With both (FPGA and external tools) I can write and read the TCA9548 register without any problem ( to set the other side I want to access.

But it seems that the access generated by the external tools doesn't go through the TCA9548. With the FPGA I can access component on the other side !!

It is not critical, but if you have an idea?
