TUSB1064: AUX question

Part Number: TUSB1064

Hello

Customer use cypress and our TUSB1064 mux. For Below topology, why AUX signal need input to TUSB1064? Do AUXP/AUXN need to add ac coupling input to scaler or not?

For TUSB106 ac coupling cap value. are 0.1uF not 0.22uF? Is it correct for ac coupling cap value? Thank you.

In their topology, this enables TUSB1064 to snoop native AUX write between CCG5 and Scalar, disable/enable lanes, went into different power states depending on the AUX snoop. AUX snooping feature is only supported when TUSB1064 is configured for I2C mode. When TUSB1064 is configured for GPIO mode, the AUX snoop feature is disabled and all four DP lanes are enabled if HPDIN is asserted high.

The AC coupling is 100nF between TUSB1064 and Scalar.

    Thanks
    David
