Hi TI experts
I know this is probably a stupid question, but I am unable to find a register which indicates exactly what rate and sub-rate the DS125DF111 has locked to.
The device is successfully working at both 10.3125GbE rate and 1GbE (sub rate), using the following register settings.
rate & sub-rate 8,1 10G & 1Gb
Reg 0x2F, 0x06
SET rate 10.0Gb & 10.3125Gb
Reg 0x60, 0x00
Reg 0x61, 0xB2
Reg 0x62, 0x90
Reg 0x63, 0xB3
Reg 0x64, 0xCD
Register 0x02 indicates the DF125DF111 is locked.
However, without knowing the source, how can I detect which rate and sub-rate the DS125DF111 has locked too?
Regards
Cameron
Hi Cameron,
This is a good question and I didn't see in our programming guide how to interrogate device registers to show locked data rate - or VCO divisor settings. We just created an FAQ to address this. Please let us know if there is a question/comment:
