SN65HVD233: replacement for the MAX33053E

I hope all is good! 

I wanted to know what could I replace the MAX33053E with? I'm thinking of the SN65HVD233 but wanted to know your thoughts as well.

    Hi Adrian,

    Do you know what level of DC fault protection is needed on the CAN pins? If it is 65+ V, then we would need to recommend the TCAN1042H. This device requires a 5-V power rail, although it does support a 3.3-V IO interface. If 36 V of protection is sufficient then SN65HVD233 would be a good recommendation. This would be a closer functional match since it operates from VCC = 3.3 V.
