Hi DearTeam,

About SN65HVD888, how much the maximum voltage of Channel of A and B (Polarity Correction)?

can I connect 'A' channel to 30volt and 'B' to GND with a resistor? (supply another slave chips with this power with a regulator)

Can I use this Ic as a Power line carrier chip?

The recommended operating conditions table allows a differential input voltage of ±12 V, so 30 V will not work.

If you need a 30 V power line, you must make it the fourth line (separate from A/B/ground) on the bus/cable.

To be more specific, the abs max of SN65HVD888 is -18V to 18V. If you need a higher fault voltage part, you can take a look at SN65HVD17xx.

What power line do you refer to? Can you give more details about the application? Thanks,
