Hi,

SN65LVDS386 is having internal pull for fail safe mode. If inputs are not connected, output will be in high state.

But as per my system requirements, if input is not connected(floating),  input should be pull down to low i.e. output should be low.Kindly suggest the required circuitry.

    Hello Amrita,

    Use SN65MLVD048 and put it in Type-2 mode (FSEN=H). In Type-2 mode, the the threshold is 65mV/135mV (instead of -100mV/100mV). The output will be low when the the inputs are left open. This is a Quad receiver, so you will need 4 of them if you need 16 channels.
