DS280DF810: Test Results and Losses

Part Number: DS280DF810
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS280BR810

Hello,

We have a few questions regarding the DS280DF810:

  1. We aren't finding anything in the way of test results for DS280DF810 devices. In most cases, any results seem to be for the DS280BR810 device.
    1. Could you please provide any test results we have for the DS280DF810?

  2. Looking at the below snapshot, the Input loss starts with 10.1 and Output loss starts with 6.4.  (http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/tidubg6/tidubg6.pdf)
  1. Is it required to design minimum 10.1dB loss at Input and minimum 6.4db loss at output. Or will it be okay if the loss is less?

Regards,
Ryan B.

  • Hi Ryan,
1). We do have different test result and we can share with your customer as long as we have NDA in place. Please send us email and provide us some background on this application.
2). Not really. We are trying to make sure there is no chance of over-equalization. So i believe it would be a good idea to have somewhere between 5 to 10dB of loss at Nyquist.
