DS90UB954-Q1: Question about IBIS model

Part Number: DS90UB954-Q1

Hi Champs,

My customer would like to use IBIS model of DS90UB954 whose pin setting for CSI output pin 11 to 16, 18, 19, and 21 to 24 are configured  as Diff_pin.

Could you provide CSI output pin is configured as differential, or how to modify the pin setting?

Best regards,

  • Hello,
Each CSI output pin is modelled as a serdes type output, there is both a high speed, and low power CSI mode. Internally there is a logic inversion for P vs N (not in the IBIS model). The IBIS model is not a functional logic model, it describes the output characteristics.

In your customer application you would take a Sequence generator at the desired serdes-line rate. You would connect that to a buffer, and an inverter with equal delays. Then you can send that to the rest of the circuit.

The IBIS model does not have a differential output model, only single ended.

  • Hello, Joe-san,

    Thanks for your reply.
May I ask few more questions over e-mail?
